 Apologize to no one.
Remind those of our sacrifice and don't
confuse arrogance with leadership.
The count is
 104,366
dead, brave Americans.

And we have to watch an
American elected leader who
apologizes to Europe and the
Middle East that our country is "arrogant"!

HOW MANY FRENCH, DUTCH, ITALIANS,
BELGIANS AND BRITS ARE BURIED ON
OUR SOIL... AFTER DEFENDING US
AGAINST OUR ENEMIES?

WE DON'T ASK FOR PRAISE...

BUT WE HAVE ABSOULUTELY NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE!

HOMETOWN HERO ROLE MODELS

Hometown Heroes is about the testimony of perseverance through adversity.

It is about ordinary Americans in extraordinary circumstances, and sharing the fact that on the other side of the hardship, a even deeper character can be established that has even more strength.

With sincere thanks to a Founding PLANK OWNER Morris Nissan, and their genuine hero in every measure of the word, we have established the

D.P. "BUCK" MORRIS AWARD

which will be an annual award given to servicemen and women exemplifying the character of Bucky.

During the first attack on Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1941, Capt. D.P. "Buck" Morris was a signalman aboard the USS Phelps (DD-360) Destroyer. USS Phelps survived the attack, shooting down at least one enemy aircraft while providing critical anti-aircraft fires during the attack. USS Phelps ultimately became one of the most active Destroyers of the Pacific war.

Buck Morris embodies the heart and soul of the patriot. In tribute to Mr. Morris, we will annually award a Veteran who demonstrates the patriotism, integrity, family values, and sense of community and giving that Mr. Morris has lead a life exemplifying.

Our award for 2014 was presented to U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Calvin Davis.
